The KNVM aims to promote the knowledge of and interest in microbiology in the Netherlands. The society has 10 divisions in various microbiological disciplines. To endorse dissemination of advances in microbiology, scientific meetings are organized by divisions individually as well as shared during the KNVM/NVMM annual Scientific Spring Meeting. Our society has approximately 1500 members.
De KNVM heeft ten doel het verbreiden en bevorderen van de kennis van de microbiologie in Nederland. De vereniging heeft 10 divisies in verschillende microbiologische disciplines. Om de verspreiding van microbiologische inzichten te ondersteunen worden wetenschappelijke bijeenkomsten georganiseerd door de individuele divisies als ook gezamenlijk tijdens de jaarlijkse KNVM/NVMM Scientific Spring Meeting. Onze vereniging telt ongeveer 1500 leden.
