BaMa Symposium 2024 - English Information
Dear student,
we’d like to invite you to the BaMa (Bachelor/Master) symposium of microbiology on April 10th 2024. Enrolment is free of charge for students!
If you are doing an internship in the field of bacteriology, virology, parasitology, mycology or serology, you can submit an abstract for an oral presentation or a poster presentation, even if the research has not been finished yet.
The BaMa-symposium takes place on April 10th from 9.00 to 15.30 during the annual spring meeting of the Royal Dutch Society for Microbiology in the congress center Papendal in Arnhem. You have the opportunity to attend the plenary session with the keynote lectures in the morning from 9.00 to 10.30. Afterwards, the BaMA programma starts.
During the symposium, you get the opportunity to present your research and to get a picture of the different research opportunities in the Netherlands and abroad. Besides, they you can make useful network connections and exchange fruitful idea’s with other students and professionals.
The deadline for abstract submission is February 18th 2024 (which is later than the deadline for the general meeting). Please use this link: https://www.scientificspringmeeting.nl/abstracts-2024/. The best abstracts will be selected for an oral presentation, the other students can present their work with a poster.
Do not forget to also register at https://www.scientificspringmeeting.nl/registration/. Participation is free of charge, also when you are presenting your research. You have to select ‘BaMa symposium’ during the registration process.
You can also participate without presenting your research, however enrolment is mandatory. Registration is possible until April 9th.
